About Vic Villarreal, Ph.D.
Dr. Villarreal, is a governance and business ethics professional, ISO 26000 expert, university professor and public servant (as a current elected ACC Trustee, and former Mayor Pro-Tem of Leander). Having established a strong and award winning reputation Dr. Villarreal has utilized his positions of public trust to tirelessly promote, advocate and secure education access and affordability - at all levels.   In 2009, with technologist Sandra Villarreal M.Ed., Dr. Villarreal founded 
Global Vista Strategies, LLC, a leadership and ethics consulting firm in Austin.
In 2011, Dr. Villarreal was named a Champion of Change in Education by The White House.
